Barons win regional soccer championship

The Barrington Barons shut out the competition, going 2-0 to win the NSSAF Senior Boys Western Region Division 3 Soccer Championship on Oct. 19.

The Barons hosted the four team tournament, taking out Forest Heights 2-0 in semi-final action Keigin Grayley and Cameron Atwood posted markers for Barrington.

Barrington blanked New Germany 4-0 in the banner game.  Jordan Chetwynd, Keigin Grayley, Dustin Atwood and Luci Woi  were the Barrington marksmen. Colton Smith had both shutouts.

The Barons were hosting Bridgetown on Oct. 26 in a one game contest, with the winner advancing to the provincial championship tournament on Nov. 1 and 2.
