SHEBURNE, N.S. – The emerency department at Roseway Hospital is seeing more closures during the Nov. 2-5 timeframe due to the lack of physician availability, says the Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA).
The closure schedule is:
• Friday, November 2, closed at 6:00 p.m., until Saturday, November 3, at 8:00 a.m.
• Saturday, November 3, closed at 6:00 p.m., until Sunday, November 4 at 8:00 a.m.
• Sunday, November 4, closed at 6:00 p.m., until Monday, November 5 at 8:00 a.m.
Anyone with urgent medical needs should call 911, particularly if experiencing unusual symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest tightness, abdominal pain, persistent headache or dizziness, or an injury requiring stitches or involving a broken bone. For non-urgent care, NSHA says to call your family doctor or visit a walk-in clinic.
