Windsor man found guilty for sexual touching, assault, exposing himself
WINDSOR, N.S. - A Windsor man has been found guilty of several sexual charges involving minors following a long trial.
POSTED: 9:30 P.M. SUNDAY: The RCMP were adivising the public on Sunday evening that a section of Highway 103 was closed and for motorists to expect delays if they were traveling. The highway had been closed due to a fatal accident that occurred earlier in the evening in Clyde River.
Shelburne RCMP were on the scene of a single vehicle crash on Highway 103 on Sunday evening and were being assisted by the Shelburne and Port Clyde Fire Dept's and Emergency Health Services.
Highway 103 was closed between exits 27 and 28 as police were investigating a single vehicle collision that occurred at approximately 6:50 p.m. A vehicle traveling eastbound on Highway 103 left the road, rolled and crashed into a ditch. The driver of the vehicle was taken to the Roseway Hospital in Shelburne by Emergency Health Services with minor injuries while the 17-year-old passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the passenger was ejected from the vehicle. RCMP Traffic analysts are at the scene and the cause of the crash has not been determined. The investigation was ongoing and traffic had been rerouted onto Highway 3.
Highway 103 was expected to be closed for a couple of hours according to a media release that had been sent out at 9:25 p.m. Sunday.
