UPDATE:The RCMP issued the following news release at 6:40 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10:
The RCMP regret to inform the public that this afternoon at approximately 3:47 p.m., police located the body of Chelsea Justice Anne Hopkins in a wooded area near her home.
Foul play is not suspected.
The RCMP said it would like to thank the public for their assistance.
Chelsea Justice Anne Hopkins had been reported missing to RCMP yesterday (Thursday) afternoon. She left her home on Oak Park Road, Shelburne County on the morning of Wednesday, Feb. 8 and had not been seen or heard from since that time.
