'The Golden Bachelorette' is coming to prime time.

A woman of a certain age will have her moment in prime time this fall.

ABC has given the greenlight to “The Golden Bachelorette,” a historical senior citizen dating show “The Golden Bachelor,” which aired last year.

News of the spinoff was announced by ABC on Saturday at the Television Critics Association conference in Pasadena, California, where the network presented a slate of upcoming shows.

“The Golden Bachelorette” follows the reality dating show “The Golden Bachelor,” which centers on Jerry Turner, a 72-year-old grandfather who gets a second shot at love on national television. His season ended on a happy note with Turner getting engaged to rival Theresa Knist. The couple had a TV wedding where their nuptials were televised live on ABC Earlier this year.

The star of “The Golden Bachelorette” has yet to be revealed. More details about the series and cast will be announced at a later date, according to an ABC press release.

“This new iteration of the hit series will highlight a radioactive woman's second chance at love during her golden years,” the publication said of the upcoming spinoff.

“The Golden Bachelorette” is the latest spinoff of “The Bachelor” universe. The franchise, which first debuted in 2002 with the original “Bachelor,” has aired more than 60 television seasons with spinoffs such as “Bachelorette,” “Bachelor Bad” and “Bachelor in Paradise.” Currently, ABC is airing its 28th season of “The Bachelor” with Joey Graziade.

On Saturday, ABC also announced the renewal of “The Bachelorette” Season 21, which will air this summer.
