The Draft Kings grabbed the Bills to land DeAndre Hopkins

Bills quarterback Josh Allen could use some help. And receiver DeAndre Hopkins could be a player with a lot to offer.

DraftKings has established Bills +300 favourites Hopkins should be the team to take his next snap, followed by the Chiefs at +400, the Ravens at +650, and the Jets at +750.

With all four leading teams in the AFC, that suggests Hopkins could become the next high-profile player to leave the NFC for the top-tier AFC.

Hopkins could benefit from a bidding war among rivals. The team that gets him prevents another team from getting him, and increases his value as one of the top AFC franchises. Whoever gets him will enjoy a significant boost in perceived/actual prospects for the 2023 season.

It’s one of the few opportunities that arise each year for a team to roll the dice on a difference-maker, especially when that team signs with another team to compete with that player. It seems like the right move for the Bills if they want to knock off the Chiefs and Bengals for the first time in 30 years and get back to the Super Bowl.

Hopkins, Stefon Diggs, Dawson Knox, and rookie Dalton Kincaid will provide impressive pass catchers for Buffalo — and that will prevent Kansas City and Patrick Mahomes from landing Travis Kelce and Kadarius Toney. Another Super Bowl run.

So enjoy Memorial Day weekend, high-profile AFC rivals. The three-day weekend begins with the opportunity to knock on many doors. The rusher is more likely than previously believed to be poised to emerge from the cluster of franchises vying to represent the conference in Super Bowl LVII.
