But it had stuff in it, including several marijuana plants.
He later called the cops who went to the small rural community just north of Middleton to check it out. When they looked in the shed, they discovered the pot plants were gone, but there was plenty of evidence of an agricultural enterprise.
Annapolis District RCMP Const. David Fairfax said police received the call at 7:27 p.m. on Sept. 14. He said the shed contained lots of agricultural products including, appropriately enough, potting soil.
When police looked around the property some more, they did find one other thing – a tree stand for hunting that the property owner knew nothing about.
The incidence of the ‘potting’ shed is under investigation.
