SHELBURNE, N.S. – Physician coverage for the Roseway Hospital emergency department has been found for during the day on Friday, June 8 so the Nova Scotia Health Authority has announced a reduction in the previously announced closure hours. The department will close at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 7 but will it will reopen at 8 a.m. on Friday, June 8. (Previously it was only supposed to reopen at 8 p.m.)
The overnight closure is due to physician unavailability.
