The Nova Scotia Health Authority (NSHA) wishes to advise the public that the emergency department at Roseway Hospital is seeing several closures during the June 14-17 timeframe.
The closures are due to lack of physician coverage.
• Friday, June 14, closed at 6 a.m., and reopening Saturday, June 15, at 8 a.m.
• Saturday, June 15, closed at 6 p.m., and reopening Sunday, June 16, at 8 a.m.
• Sunday, June 16, closed at 6 p.m., and reopening Monday, June 17, at 8 a.m.
• Monday, June 17, closed at 6 p.m., and reopening Tuesday, June 18 at 8 a.m.
The health authority says anyone with urgent medical needs should call 911, particularly if experiencing unusual symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest tightness, abdominal pain, persistent headache or dizziness, or an injury requiring stitches or involving a broken bone.
