Break and enter results in two arrests


CLYDE RIVER- Two men have been arrested for break and enter at a Clyde River convenience store.

On Sept. 28 just after 2 a.m. Shelburne RCMP responded to a break and enter at a store on Post Office Road.

This was the second report of a break and enter at this location in two weeks.

A 45-year old man from Gransville Ferry and a 29- yearold man from Dartmouth have been remanded into custody.

Police were able to use a crime analyst in addition to other techniques to identify the two suspects.

On Oct. 3 they searched a home and arrested the two men without incident.

A stolen vehicle from the Annapolis County area was recovered as well.

The suspects are facing charges of

·         Possession of Stolen Property

·         Break and Enter

·         Possession of Break and Enter Instruments

·         Wearing a Disguise While Committing a Criminal Offence

·         Breach of Probation

·         Breach of Recognizance


They appeared in Shelburne Provincial Court on Oct.

The investigation is ongoing.
