Boats leaving Falls Point wharf for lobster season start a colourful sight

LOWER WOODS HARBOUR, N.S. —

There was a smooth start to the lobster seaon for fishermen at the Falls Point wharf in Woods Harbour. It didn't take long for the ocean to become a sea of twinkling lights in southwestern Nova Scotia as hundreds of fishing boats from wharves all along the coast headed to the fishing grounds to set thier gear. This year's season in LFAs 33 and 34 was delayed by a day  due to weather.
