March Madness scores: Oakland's upset of Kentucky highlights Day 1 of NCAA Tournament

It's officially crazy. After the first four games on Tuesday and Wednesday, 16 men's games were played within 12 hours on Thursday, the first full day of the NCAA tournament.

    Jayhawks hold on after late scare from Bulldogs. Kansas finishes with five players with 13+ points. Hunter Dickinson led the way with 19 points and 20 rebounds. The ultimately controversial foul call will surely come back to haunt Samford.

  • Samford cut the lead to 1, then blocked a Kansas shot at the other end.

    But there was a mistake in this play. Good call?

  • This matter is not over yet. Samford cuts the Kansas lead to 2 with 38 seconds left!

    The Red Hot 11th-ranked Wolfpack are hot off a win over No. 6 Texas Tech. Tech drops to 0-3 as a 6 seed today with losses to BYU and Oregon in that seeding streak.

  • Samford is coming back! At one point Kansas was up 63-41.

  • Final: Washington State 66, Drake 61

    Washington State rallied and defeated Drake in the first round. Isaac Jones' 20 points lead the Cougars. Vasu advanced to face Iowa State in the second round.
