Shelburne County Schooners take two on weekend; to play Canada Day

The Shelburne County Schooners are playing .500 ball in the early part of their inaugural season.

Shelburne County Schooners won both of their games against the Kennetcook Braves to even their record at 4-4.

In game 1, Colin Bradley pitched a complete game win with help at the plate from Matt D'Entremont who crushed the Schooners first home run of the season and knocked in 3 RBI's. Final score 6-2.

In game 2, the final score was 6-3 with Jeff Ross pitching the win in relief. The offense for this game primarily came from Douglas Townsend who went 3-3 with 2 RBI's including a double.

On Canada Day the Schooners take to the field against Clarks Harbour at 1 p.m. against the Shelburne County Cubs Midget AA team.
