In 2011, it was the Shelburne Bashers holding the Mosquito A banner.

The Clark's Harbour Mosquito A Foggies will be hosting the 2013 Mosquito A Provincial Championships on the Labour Day weekend at the F.A. Brannen Memorial Ball Park in Clark's Harbour.

The four team round robin tournament gets underway Friday (Aug. 30) at 4 p.m. and will wrap up on Sunday, Sept. 1 with championship action. Also competing for the title are the Halifax Braves, Kentville Wildcats, and the Springhill Fence Busters.

“We would like to thank all of the community and business support for this event.  We have exceeded our fundraising goals and are looking forward to a fun weekend,” said coach Brennan Goreham. “I also want to thank the parents for dedicating their time to the team as well.”

Goreham said all the players would greatly appreciate community attendance at the event, and the Foggies are hoping for a big crowd to cheer on the home team.
