Evelyn “DoDo” Goodwin, Former Care and Share Peer Support for Depression facilitator

Please note that I have discontinued our monthly meetings due to personal circumstances.

Our loaning library will be available until further notice by calling 902-637-2470. I will be available for private or group meetings by request only. During day time hours.

We thank the Trinity United Church for providing their hall as a meeting place over the years, as well as the Community Health Promotion Fund, the Shelburne County Community Health Board Wellness Fund, the South West Health Community Health Board Wellness Fund, and J.R.B. Fund Raising Society (Friends Remembering Friends) for your financial support for the past 21 years.

You have enable us to provide a safe, welcome place for those who are affected by a depressive disorder to meet, to share, give peer support, watch videos, borrow books, and enjoy refreshments.

These elements, combined with professional care were found to be a vital part in the management of this disorder.

To each and everyone who has attended throughout the years, I want to say: It has been a privilege and an honor to be your facilitator.

This group is now in need of a facilitator for the monthly meetings. Those interested please call me at 902-637-2470.
