RCMP investigates fatal pedestrian collision

A pedestrian was killed in Barrington after attempting to cross Hwy 3 in Barrington Passage.

Shortly before 7 p.m. on Feb. 16 three people were attempting to cross the highway.

A 75-year old man from Barrington Passage, crossed the road and was struck by a vehicle.

Despite efforts by EHS, the man died at the scene.


An RCMP Traffic Analyst attended the scene to conduct an investigation into this incident. One lane of Highway 3 was closed for several hours but has since been re-opened, say an RCMP release.
