Windsor man found guilty for sexual touching, assault, exposing himself
WINDSOR, N.S. - A Windsor man has been found guilty of several sexual charges involving minors following a long trial.
The Nova Star passes by the Sandy Point Light on Saturday.
SHELBURNE -The Nova Star ferry arrived in Shelburne Harbour on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 15 for the first time.
The decision to lay-up in Shelburne was made to accommodate the ship while talks to secure a winter route continue for this season, and there was an availability of a berth in Shelburne, says spokesperson Sean Lewis.
The entrance to, and departure from, the inner harbour at the Yarmouth Public Wharf had been taking a little extra time for fishermen who had their boats moored there. The Nova Star ferry's bow lines were tied to bollards on the dock across the entrance and were too low for boats to navigate beneath.
The company has been working with the local fisherman on the situation, pulling the lines and reattaching them when boats needed to move. The lobster fishing season is scheduled to begin Monday, Nov. 24.
The ferry had been docked in Yarmouth since Oct. 14, when it concluded its fall season.
Details of the winter route will be provided when an agreement is finalized.
In its first season Nova Star carried 59,018 passengers to and from this province.
As of Oct. 23, the company had 43 motorcoach trips booked for its 2015 season.
