Shelburne County woman’s hockey tourney this weekend

Four teams will be facing off in the second annual Shelburne County Women’s Hockey Tournament this weekend at the Shelburne Arena.

The round robin tournament gets underway Saturday (March 14) at 10 a.m. with six games on tap for the day. Action continues Sunday at 9 a.m. with semi-final play. The championship game is slated for 3 p.m.

Competing in the tourney are the Barrington Barons, Barrington Sobeys, Yarmouth and Clare.

SCHEDULE

Saturday

10 a.m. Yarmouth vs. Clare

11:30 a.m. Barons vs. Sobeys

1 p.m. Sobeys vs. Yarmouth

2:30 p.m. Clare vs. Barons

4 p.m. Sobeys vs. Clare

7:30 p.m. Yarmouth vs. Barons

Sunday

9 a.m. 3rd vs. 4th

10:30 .m. 1st vs. 2nd

1:30 p.m. consolation

3 p.m. championship
