The Barrington Sea Star Ice Dogs defeated the North Shore Storms 5-3 in at home on Satur-day night (Oct. 28).

The Ice Dogs held a 5-0 lead midway in the game only to have the Storms score two goals in 24 sec-onds late in the second and another late in the third.

Rene Spinney, Benton Gallagher , Jesse Hop-kins, Gilles d’Entremont and Josh Aylward all had single goals with three assists from Katlin New-ell. Josh Merrick turned aside 24 shots for the victory in goal.

The Ice Dogs continue their home stand facing the Valley Keiths on Sat-urday (Nov. 11) at 7:30 p.m. and West Division leaders Clare Lions Sun day (Nov. 12) at 2:00 p.m.
