More than 150 runners from Canada and the U.S. competed in the 40th running of the Nova Scotia Marathon and Half Marathon in the Municipality of Barrington on Sunday.
Starting from the Barrington Municipal Arena, athletes ran a course that took full marathoners the total circumference of Cape Sable Island, while half marathoners ran the Clam Point/Stoney Island loop before heading back to the mainland.
Halifax runner Ramey Bardessey repeated as half marathon open champion, while Terry Malloy was the open winner in the full marathon.
Full results will be posted as they become available.
