BMHS girls hosting fast pitch provincials

The Barrington Barons Senior Girls Fastpitch team will host provincial playoffs this week after taking the regional banner.

The Barrington Municipal High School Senior Girls Fastpitch team took first place

in Regionals last week in Barrington and will be hosting provincials this Thursday and Friday.

In the regional championship against Horton High School the Barrington team won its best of three by winning the first two games handily. Both matches were over before the third inning due to the league “mercy” rules. Opening ceremonies for the provincial tournament are slated to start at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, June 3.
