Hallet was born without a lining dividing her trachea from her esophagus and has lived her entire life so far in the hospital. Last summer she and her family were visited by country music star Keith Urban.

There will be a dessert night along with entertainment to help raise funds for Katelynn Hallet, who at one and a half years old has spent her entire life in the hospital.

Hallet was born on Sept 11, 2011 with a rare condition where she was born without a lining dividing her trachea from her esophagus.

This condition has only been seen a handful of times around the world.

She has had multiple surgeries to help build up the lining so that she can eat and breath on her own.

Her parents Tami Harris and Daniel Hallet have stuck close by her side.

The entire community is encouraged to come to the event that will be held on Feb. 10 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Lower Ohio Hall and hosted by the Roseway River 4H club.

One of the organizers and general leader for the 4H club, Dee Harding said that there would be plenty of fun things to do to help raise the much-needed funds for this family.

They will be accepting donations at the door and will host a series of entertaining skits by the 4-H, a silent auction will be held and an array of desserts will be sold.

All proceeds will go to Katelynn and her family.

Donations can also be made online at ahelpinghandforkatelynn.wordpress.com
