Two barred owls from Shelburne County will be spending Christmas recovering from their injuries at the Hope for Wildlife Centre in Seaforth, N.S. Centre director Hope Swinimer said the birds were taken to the centre within a week of each other after being discovered injured. Both had head injuries and the most recent arrival also had a dislocated toe.
