Due to bad weather in the forecast, hundreds of lobster boats will have to wait another day to hit the water in LFA 34. On Friday, Fisheries and Oceans made the call to postpone the season for Lobster Fishing Area 34 until Tuesday.  "The Environment Canada models are showing really bad conditions  ….gale force winds," said Fisheries and Oceans area manager Frank Quinn.  A decision on whether the season will be postponed in  LFA 33 will be made in conjunction with port representatives and Coast Guard officials on Saturday.
