20-year-old killed in weekend crash

A 20-year-old Shelburne County man died after the car he was driving left the road on Saturday evening around 5:30 p.m.

The man died at the scene of the single vehicle car crash on the Oak Park Road in Barrington. The 17-year-old passenger was removed from the vehicle with the assistance of Barrington and Island Fire Department was transported to the Yarmouth Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries

A traffic collision reconstructionist examined the scene and the investigation is continuing.
