Wilson’s Shopping Centre in Barrington Passage is rolling out the red carpet once again for Ladies Gala Night.
The popular fundraiser will be held Thursday, Oct. 25 from 6 to 10 p.m. Headlining the event is renowned florist Neville MacKay, who is back by popular demand.
The Barrington Passage business will be transformed for the event, with exhibitors, entertainers, a dutch auction, a live auction, tasty treats, not to mention the thousands of dollars in free draws that will be awarded during the course of the evening.
Now in its fifth year, Ladies Gala Night is a fundraiser for both the IWK and local non-profit groups.
The event has earned Wilson’s Shopping Centre the 2012 Outstanding Small Business Award from the Association of Fundraising Professionals Nova Scotia Chapter.
Last year Ladies Gala Night raised $26,000 for charity.
Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance at the store. Tickets are also available at Shelburne high school, Barrington high school, Steps for Shannon team members, Par en Bas school,
Central Elementary, Plymouth School,
Wedgeport School, West Pubnico School,
Lori Pass, Terri Thomas, Norma McGray, and Meadowfields Elementary (Melissa). Proceeds from Ladies Gala Night will benefit charities for each of these of these supporters.
