The Final Amazing Mike Elliott’s Kitchen Party takes the stage this Saturday night, Aug. 20 at the Osprey Arts Centre. Mike has been arranging this very popular fundraiser for the Osprey for a decade and promises that this one will be the one you will remember.

In the first half, Mike will present Natalie Lynn, singer/songwriter just entering her final year at Shelburne High. Mike’s old pal, Bruce Reid will join Mike for several songs. Mike will introduce Karl Rhuland and his band from Bridgewater to Shelburne audiences. There are promises of the usual surprise guests. Mike’s boys, all grown up of course, Stephen, Matthew and Christian, will round out the first set.

The second set will be a dance with Stephen Elliott’s new band, Dublin Vinyl, made up of Stephen and three of his friends from Halifax, Collin Burke, Andrew Hill and Anthony Phillips. Mike will join Dublin Vinyl for a last hurrah.

This evening will be one to remember. Aug. 20 at 8 p.m.Tickets are $15, available at The Whirligig Book Shop, 875 1117, Tuesday-Friday and at the door.
