Shelburne’s first Christmas Parade of Lights, held on Saturday night, will likely be remembered as the highlight of the weekend.  Although the weather was less than cooperative, the parade included the 18th Lions Squadron Band from Dartmouth, the Shelburne Cadets, as well as 27 brightly-lit and festive floats, with the highest attendance ever for a parade in Shelburne.   The most anticipated float in the parade also proved to be quite a hit with the public as a very jolly Santa arrived in one of the Shelburne longboats.

1st Place – Roseway Hospital

2nd Place – Harlow Construction

3rd Place – Gosbee’s Sporting Goods with Bactrac

Spirit of Christmas – Hope Wesleyan Church
