The Shelburne County Arts Council wants you to make art… out of garbage! Anyone and everyone is invited to enter the Art Made of Garbage Contest. Both individual and group entries are welcome and will be judged separately.

Entry forms are available at the Osprey Arts Centre weekdays, 9 to 4 and at the Whirligig Bookshop. They are also available from the Tourist bureaus in Lockeport and Barrington. All the work must be made  primarily of discarded materials and delivered to the Osprey by September 17th when the judging will take place.

First prize is $250, second is $150 and third $50.

“The Garbage Collection” will be an exhibition of works selected from the entries as well as works commissioned just for the show. "The Garbage Collection" will be open to the public at the Osprey Arts Centre on September 18 until October 31.

Pick up an entry form and get started on your project.
