Anyone who would like to try their hand at dory rowing will have the opportunity on Monday, May 18 when the Queen of Hearts Dory Club hosts an introduction to the sport.

The event will be held on the island side of the Cape Sable Island Causeway starting at 2 p.m. Participants re asked to meet at the gazebo on the North East Point waterfront.

All equipment and instruction will be provided free off charge.

The Queen of Hearts Dory Club has six dories available for members to use throughout the summer, with two dories each berthed at the Clark’s Harbour and West Head wharves, and two at the causeway.
